Caroline Hamilton, Camfed International Board Member
Caroline Hamilton is a record-breaking polar explorer and a successful busineswoman. She was part of the first all-women team to ski to both the North and South Poles. Hauling sledges more than her own bodyweight, she has travelled over 1,500 miles through the Arctic and Antarctic.
When she is not breaking ice in the arctic, Caroline runs her own business called Icebreaker Ltd., which identifies business opportunities for a group of private investors, negotiates commercial arrangements and seeks to maximise revenues from intellectual property rights – including film and television productions, musical stageshows, merchandising and brand names. Caroline is also much sought after as an inspirational speaker and lecturer.
