Change a School
Transform a rural school in Africa and the life chances of hundreds of children today. A donation of $20,000 will provide a full package of support to 25 of the community’s most vulnerable girls who would otherwise be forced by poverty to end their education prematurely; and enable the school to respond to the needs of other boys and girls for whom simply an exercise book, uniform or a pen will mean the difference between dropping out and maintaining a hold on the education that will give them the skills to change their lives and their communities.
Your donation will also enable the school to improve its resources and facilities, ensuring that it is an environment where all children will learn and thrive.
What you will receive
- The name and details of the school that you are helping change
- An introductory pack on the country where your school is located that sets the context of your support and Camfed’s programs in the country (you can select the country if desired)
- A group photo of the girls whose lives will be changed by your gift
- Annual progress reports from the head teacher on the strides being made in education at the school with your help
